TOE Advanced Course - 2nd Independent Film Workshop
To all the film buffs out there, have you not ever dreamed of making a film? What stopped you from doing so? Was it the lack of filming knowledge? The lack of manpower? Or budget? Perhaps you are still regretting your decision years ago not to study film.
In the digital era, making a film is no more the impossible dream. German director Werner Herzog once said, “If you want to make a film, then do it.”
Last summer when our moving image workshop was first launched, more than ten students made their first short film called “For Old Time Sake”. Now in its second year, we are recruiting new students for the workshop. From film appreciation, developing a concept, writing a script, shooting a film and taking part in sharing sessions hosted by practising filmmakers, they will gain comprehensive insight into film production and make an independent short film together.
